The T-Mobile retail store in Fairfield will permanently close next month as the wireless provider continues to reduce its nationwide brick-and-mortar footprint.
A company spokesperson said the store, located at 1790 W. Delaware St., will officially cease operations on August 16th.
T-Mobile recently announced plans to close a number of both company-owned stores and authorized third-party retail locations across the country as it shifts more customer service and sales to its T-Life mobile app, website, and other authorized retailers.
Following the Fairfield closure, the nearest T-Mobile retail locations for local customers will be in Centralia and Evansville.
