EDWARDS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET MONDAY

The Edwards County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, August 3rd at the Edwards County Courthouse in Albion. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m.

Commissioners are scheduled to approve minutes from the previous meeting before hearing reports from Sheriff Darby Boewe, the County Health Office, and the County Highway Department.

Highway business includes consideration of Special Road Fund Ordinance 08-03-26 (06) and an engineering agreement for the 800 East Bridge over the Crooked Creek Tributary.

The board will also hear from the County Treasurer with agenda items including a MIP Cloud Quote and a Tax Sale Bill.

Other business includes consideration of a TextMyGov proposal, discussion with Landon Beck, and review of proposed revisions to the county’s Solar Ordinance.

Representatives from Ecoplexus are expected to provide an update on a solar project.

Commissioners may also enter executive session before discussing the County Highway Building, Landfill, and EMS matters.

The meeting will conclude with correspondence and discussion, approval and payment of claims, and adjournment.
