Jackie (Jack) Anderson, 81, of Fairfield

Jackie (Jack) Anderson, 81, of Fairfield, Illinois, was born on July 18, 1945, in Fairfield, Illinois. He entered into heavenly bliss at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana, on July 31, 2026.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 57 years, Linda (Finley) Anderson, of Fairfield; his uncle, Kenny (Hariett) Nale of Fairfield; two sisters-in-law, Patricia (Perry) Atkinson of Patoka, IN, and Jean Fearn of Fairfield; a brother-in-law Gary (Jyl) Finley of Fairfield; several special nieces and nephews across several states; and his lifelong friend and brother, Dick Price of Fairfield.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Mabel Anderson; and two brothers.

Jack proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He dedicated many

years of service to Airtex Products, spending the majority of his career in the Tool & Die Department.

In his spare time, Jack enjoyed traveling with Linda, working outdoors on various projects, and sharing stories with friends and anyone within hearing distance.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery with full military honors. Casual attire is encouraged for those attending.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Linda E. White Hospice House of Evansville, Indiana, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
