FCC TO HOST SENIOR CITIZENS DAY SEPTEMBER 25TH

Frontier Community College will host a Senior Citizens Day event on Friday, September 25th in West Hall, offering information, resources, and educational opportunities for area seniors.

Registration and breakfast will begin at 8 a.m., followed by opening remarks from FCC President Dr. Sharmila Kakac and Lori Noe, Director of Learning Commons.

The morning program will feature presentations from local professionals on topics including financial estate planning, resiliency through life challenges, hospital resources, healthy eating, adult education, and tutoring opportunities.
Featured speakers include Luke Harl of FNB Financial, Dana Taylor of Fairfield Memorial Hospital, Whitney Buckles of Fairfield Memorial Hospital, and Sharis Wilson, Director of Literacy and Adult Education Operations.

The event will conclude with door prize drawings and a tour of the Learning Commons in Cox Hall, where attendees can learn about services and accommodations available to senior citizens.
