Micah Parsons said Tuesday that he thinks it’s very realistic he will be playing when Green Bay faces the Dallas Cowboys in Week Six at Lambeau Field. Parsons is still recovering from a torn ACL/meniscus injury he sustained in Week 15 last season. The 27-year-old was acquired by the Packers in 2025 after they sent Kenny Clark and a first round pick in the 2026 and 2027 drafts to Dallas.

(Oxnard, CA) — The Dallas Cowboys are dealing with their first significant injury of training camp. Tight end Princeton Fant is headed for season-ending surgery after tearing his ACL during practice. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer says Fant also suffered a partial tear of his MCL. The 27-year-old was entering his fourth NFL season, all with Dallas. He suited up for just one game last year.

The contract also sets the market for pending extensions for Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs and the Indianapolis Colts’ Jonathan Taylor.

The edge rusher got hurt during team drills and was carted off the field. Walker was taken 15th-overall in the 2025 draft out of Georgia and tallied five-and-a-half sacks in his rookie year.

(Florham Park, NJ) — New York Jets rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq is out for a third-straight training camp practice after suffering a setback in his recovery from hernia surgery. Head coach Aaron Glenn said that Sadiq will miss “a little bit” of time as he works his way back, but is confident that the first-round pick will be ready for Week One. Sadiq underwent the procedure in May, after he was drafted 16th overall.

(Chicago, IL) — The Bears are making sure star quarterback Caleb Williams is protected for the long haul. NFL Network reports Darnell Wright was awarded a four-year contract extension worth 116-million dollars. The deal includes 93-million in guaranteed money, which makes him the highest-paid right tackle in league history. Wright was taken with the 10th-overall pick in the 2023 draft.

(Glendale, AZ) — Rookie Carson Beck will start under center for the Arizona Cardinals in this week’s Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. Head coach Mike LaFleur is turning to the third-round pick with presumed starter Jacoby Brissett and likely backup Gardner Minshew expected to watch in street clothes. Beck is competing with Kedon Slovis for the developmental QB-3 job during training camp. The Cardinals will face the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night in Canton, Ohio.

(New York, NY) — New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman can no longer guarantee that Aaron Judge will play again this season. Cashman said his team captain will have his fractured rib imaged again to determine his rate of healing and whether he can resume baseball activities, but would not say when that will happen. New York acquired outfielder Heliot Ramos ahead of the trade deadline to help offset Judge’s absence from the lineup.

(St. Joseph, MO) — The wife of Chiefs’ offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy remains hospitalized after a shooting. Andy Reid said that Mia Bieniemy continues to get better and stronger in Virginia. The couple’s son is accused of shooting the 57-year-old at their home last month.

(Champaign, IL) — Illinois men’s basketball forward David Mirkovic is recovering after undergoing surgery. The sophomore went under the knife yesterday after suffering a left foot injury during a team practice last month. He’s expected to make a full recovery, however a timeline for his return to action wasn’t released. The Montenegro native averaged 13.3 points and eight rebounds as a freshman last season.

(Cleveland, OH) — Cleveland’s WNBA expansion team now has a name. The team announced it will be called the Sirens during an event at Rocket Arena on Tuesday. The WNBA’s 16th team will begin play in 2028. The league returns to Cleveland for the first time since the Rockers folded in 2003. The logo features a Siren underneath the name. The two shades of blue take inspiration from Lake Erie and the Rockers’ logo.
>>Brock Lesnar Retires From WWE
(Los Angeles, CA) — Brock Lesnar is leaving the WWE. The 49-year-old pro wrestling legend made the announcement Tuesday on the “Pat McAfee Show,” and said his loss at the Summer Slam in Minneapolis this past weekend was the final match of his career. It’s not the first time Lesnar has announced his retirement, but after his losing match Saturday to Nigerian wrestling champ Oba Femi, the WWE wished him well and moved his bio to the alumni section of their website. Lesnar told McAfee he wants to “let the world know that I am retired and I wanted to say a big thank you to everybody.”
