HOMESTEAD VINEYARDS TO HOST WINE AND WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL SATURDAY

Homestead Vineyards near West Salem will turn back the clock this Saturday with its annual Wine and Woodstock festival, celebrating the music and spirit of the late 1960s.

The event will be held Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. at the winery, located at 1785 County Road 775 East, West Salem.

Admission is $10 per person, which includes a commemorative wine glass and a chance to sample the newly released 2026 Flower Power Wine.

Live entertainment will include Guy Ash performing from 12 Noon to 4pm., Drum Circle from 2:30pm to 3pm. led by Connor Akers, The Smoke Rings from 4 p.m. to 8pm, and the band Hippie Costume Contest at 5pm. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three best-dressed hippies.

The festival will also feature food from Beer Bones BBQ and Kolbs Culinary Creations, along with a variety of craft and specialty vendors.

Children can enjoy face painting, giant bubbles, temporary tattoos, snow cones and giant popsicles, while a misting station will help visitors cool off during the day.

Primitive camping will be available Friday and Saturday nights for $50, with campers asked to provide their own generators. A Friday evening meal featuring Beer Bones BBQ will be served at 6 p.m. for $15 per person.
