Illinois State Police are investigating a death reported earlier this week in Eldorado.
According to ISP, the Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 8 was requested by the Eldorado Police Department at approximately 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a death in the 800 block of High Street.
Authorities have not released the identity of the person who died or details surrounding the circumstances of the death.
Illinois State Police say the investigation remains open and ongoing, and no additional information is being released at this time.
