A two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Wayne City resulted in significant damage to both vehicles, but no injuries were reported.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:33 p.m. at the intersection of West Section Line Road and South Main Street.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 23-year-old Leah A. Marvel of Wayne City was driving a 2013 Volkswagen Passat and attempted to turn north onto Main Street when her vehicle collided with a southbound 2025 Volkswagen Jetta driven by 64-year-old Rebecca S. Creighton of Wayne City.
Both vehicles sustained front-end damage estimated at more than $1,500.
Wayne City Ambulance personnel responded, but both drivers declined medical treatment.
