The Fairfield City Council will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 109 N.E. Second St.

A public hearing will be held at 5:50 p.m. to consider rezoning 306 S.E. Eighth Street from R-2 to R-3 and 609 W. Delaware Street from B-3 to P zoning.

Among the items on the regular agenda are ordinances for both rezoning requests, awarding the bid for a water line project, and business tax district presentations for Clothesline and CC Nails.

Council members will also consider a TIF district request for the Fairfield Laundromat, a revolving loan request for The Reserve, and a price adjustment for a Water Distribution Department truck.

Additional business includes requests to close streets for the Fairfield Fall Fun Fest and Downtown Trunk or Treat, supplemental Motor Fuel Tax funding resolutions for two street projects, and an animal control discussion.

The meeting will also include approval of bills, a financial report, miscellaneous business, and an executive session if needed.
