The West Salem Chowder Committee will host the annual West Salem Homecoming and Chowder on Saturday, August 15.
Live music will be part of the festivities, with Midnight Express scheduled to perform at 11 a.m. The group is making the West Salem event a stop on its 2026 “Still Not Famous Tour.”
Organizers are also accepting registrations for vendors interested in participating. Outdoor 10-by-10-foot booth spaces are available for $20 and are limited to non-food items. Set-up begins at 7 a.m., and vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, tables, chairs and other equipment.
