ENFIELD MULE DAYS TO CELEBRATE 105TH YEAR OCTOBER 1ST – 4TH

The 105th Enfield Mule Days celebration, themed “Celebrates America,” will take place October 1st through the 4th with four days of family entertainment, contests, a parade, carnival, and live music.

Festivities begin Thursday, October 1st with children’s games at 5 p.m., followed by the Baby Contest, Mr. and Miss Tot Contest, Prince and Princess Contest, and bingo.

Events continue Friday, October 2nd with the Little Miss Mule Day Contest, Mule Day Queen Contest, Jr. Miss Mule Day Contest, entertainment, and bingo.

Saturday’s activities begin with a biscuits and gravy breakfast at the Enfield Fire Department from 6 to 9 a.m. Other highlights include a pet parade, cake walk, and the 105th Mule Days Parade, with lineup at the WADI Building at noon and the parade stepping off at 1:30 p.m. Bingo returns during the afternoon, followed by live entertainment from the Honkytonk Troubadours from 4 to 8 p.m., and another bingo session from 6 to 8 p.m.

The celebration concludes Sunday, October 4th with carnival and food booths opening at noon and a Gospel Sing at 1:30 p.m.

The Swyear Amusements Inc. Carnival will operate Thursday and Friday from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday after the parade until 10 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Organizers invite the public to attend the annual community celebration and enjoy the full schedule of family-friendly events.
