The Wayne City Saddle Club will host its 34th Annual Bean Days Rodeo on Saturday, September 26th.
The rodeo will be held at 601 County Road 400 North in Wayne City. Gates open at 5 p.m., with the rodeo beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $15, payable at the gate.
The event will feature competition in bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, team roping, breakaway roping, barrel racing, bull riding, and mutton bustin’ for children weighing 55 pounds or less. The entry fee for mutton bustin’ is $25, and participants can register by calling or texting Kalleigh at 618-417-0879.
The rodeo will feature stock provided by the Wooten Rodeo Company.
Organizers remind attendees that alcohol is prohibited on the grounds, all dogs must be kept on a leash, and contestants must provide current negative Coggins papers for their horses.
