Former St. Louis Cardinal David Eckstein and Star Wars actress Ashley Eckstein will bring their joint book tour to Mt. Vernon next month to raise money for healthcare services in Southern Illinois.
The event will be held September 9th at Cedarhurst Center for the Arts, with proceeds benefiting the SSM Health Foundation – Southern Illinois.
The husband-and-wife duo will celebrate their respective books, Lucky 22 and Just Enough, while sharing personal stories of faith and resilience.
David Eckstein is a two-time World Series champion and was named the 2006 World Series MVP with the St. Louis Cardinals. Ashley Eckstein is known as the original voice of Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars franchise and is founder of the fashion brand Her Universe.
General admission tickets are $75 and include the 7 p.m. program and autographed copies of both books.
A VIP option includes a 5:30 p.m. private reception, meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with the Ecksteins, along with admission to the program and autographed copies of both books.
