The Edwards County Farm Bureau will conduct its 19th annual corn yield survey on Tuesday, August 18.
Survey teams will check corn fields in every township throughout Edwards County. Farmers who do not want their fields included in the survey are asked to contact the Edwards County Farm Bureau office at 618-445-2113. Officials said all requests will be honored.
The survey will follow the same routes and examine the same fields used in previous years. Results of the survey will be released to the media on Wednesday, August 19.
The annual corn yield survey is sponsored by the Edwards County Farm Bureau Young Leaders and Bunge in Browns.
