Cedarhurst Center for the Arts in Mt. Vernon will host its annual Blues, Brews & Bourbon event on Saturday, August 29th featuring live music, craft beverages and food vendors.
Gates and the bar will open at 6 p.m., with music beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Mitchell House Backyard. If weather requires, the concert will move indoors.
Headlining the evening will be Rashad the Blues Kid, with opening performances by Devin C. Williams and Cat Daddy ‘O.
The event will feature a house bar, Baum’s Brauhaus craft brews and a bourbon bar. Food vendors will include Winston’s Bagels by B-Rad and The Potato Plug.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Coolers will not be permitted, and attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
Tickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for Cedarhurst members. Tickets may be purchased online, by phone at 618-242-1236, or at the gate with cash only.
The event will be held at Cedarhurst Center for the Arts, 2600 Richview Road, Mt. Vernon.
