Land of Lincoln Legal Aid will bring its Mobile Justice program to several area communities offering free civil legal assistance to qualifying residents.
The mobile clinic will visit Wayne and Clay counties on August 25th and November 5th. Attorneys will be available at the Fairfield Public Library from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a stop at the Clay County Courthouse from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
The program will also visit the Carmi Public Library on September 15th and October 20th with an attorney available from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day.
Qualifying individuals can receive free assistance with civil legal matters, including answers to legal questions, information about available options and guidance on possible next steps.
