The City of Fairfield has announced that petitions for candidates seeking alderman seats in the April 6, 2027 Consolidated Election will be available beginning August 25.
Seats up for election include First Ward, Second Ward, Third Ward and Fourth Ward alderman. One alderman from each of Fairfield’s four wards will be elected to a four-year term.
Petitions will be available from City Clerk Tina Hutchcraft. City Hall office hours are 7 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
Petition circulation begins August 25, with the filing period scheduled for November 16 through November 23.
