FAIRFIELD GRADE SCHOOL BOARD TO REVIEW FY27 BUDGET, SCHOOL POLICIES AT TONIGHT’S (MONDAY) MEETING

The Fairfield Grade School District Board of Education will meet tonight (Monday) at 6pm in the Center Street School Boardroom.

The board will receive several items in the superintendent’s report, including revenue and expenses, food service, transportation and an intergovernmental agreement for transportation.

Board members will also review the district’s tentative Fiscal Year 2027 budget, Risk Management Plan, hazardous safety conditions and the second reading of PRESS Policy 122.

Other items include the district’s Bullying Prevention Policy and a Bridge Therapy contract. The board is scheduled to take action on each of those items later in the meeting.

Principals from Center Street School and North Side School will also present reports.

The board is scheduled to enter closed session to discuss personnel, labor relations, collective negotiations, litigation, a public office vacancy and student discipline. Additional action could follow the closed session.
