Country music star Lainey Wilson has set a new attendance record at the Illinois State Fair Grandstand.
Wilson performed before more than 15,500 fans Saturday night in Springfield, breaking the previous Grandstand attendance record set by Megan Moroney in 2025.
Wilson’s record-setting performance came during the opening weekend of this year’s fair.
The 2026 Illinois State Fair continues through Sunday, August 23rd in Springfield.
