The North Wayne Community Unit School District #200 Board of Education will meet in regular session Wednesday evening at Cisne Middle School.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

Among items on the consent agenda, the board will consider approving the Cisne Middle School Improvement Plan and accepting two donations from Fairfield National Bank. The donations include $2,500 for the district’s Community Connections Fund and $500 for the Cisne High School FFA.

The board will also consider accepting the resignation of Katlyn Tannahill as an individual aide and designating the Wayne County Press as the publication for the district’s legal notices.

Under old business, board members are scheduled to receive an update from BLDD.

New business includes discussion and possible action on tentative approval of the district’s 2026-27 budget. The board will also consider setting the date and time for a budget hearing.

An optional executive session is listed on the agenda. Among the personnel matters scheduled for discussion is an individual aide for a student at Mt. Erie Elementary School. The board could take action on the position after returning to open session.
