Cooluli is recalling approximately 250,000 mini fridges following reports that the appliances can short circuit and catch fire.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the recall involves certain 10-liter and 15-liter Cooluli mini fridges. An electrical switch can short circuit, creating fire and burn hazards.
Cooluli has received at least 19 reports of property damage totaling more than $80,000. One consumer also reported suffering a smoke inhalation injury.
The affected mini fridges were sold online through Amazon and Cooluli from January 2019 through October 2024.
Consumers with affected units are advised to stop using the recalled mini fridges and follow the manufacturer’s recall instructions.
