
The National Weather Service in Paducah is forecasting partly sunny skies and warm temperatures across the region today (Friday), followed by a pleasant weekend.
Highs today are expected to reach the upper 80s. Conditions should remain favorable into the evening, with temperatures in the 70s for the opening night of the high school football season. Overnight lows will fall into the 60s.
Partly sunny skies will continue through the weekend. Afternoon highs Saturday and Sunday are forecast in the middle to upper 80s, with overnight lows dropping into the lower 60s.
Looking ahead to next week, daily chances for thunderstorms return Monday through Wednesday. The National Weather Service places afternoon and evening rain chances between 15 and 30 percent each day.
Temperatures and humidity are expected to remain near typical late-August levels through the coming week.
