Three Wayne City Village Trustee seats and three Library Trustee positions will be up for election during the April 2027 consolidated election.
Village Clerk Staci Choate said petition packets are expected to be available at Wayne City Village Hall beginning Tuesday, August 25.
Candidate filing will begin November 16, with petitions due by November 23.
The three Village Trustee positions carry four-year terms. On the Library Board, two seats will be for six-year terms and one for a four-year term.
Wayne City Village Hall is generally open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office will remain open until 5 p.m. on the final filing day, November 23.
