Some frozen blueberries are being recalled. Reports say the FDA is issuing a recall for frozen blueberries sold at some Publix supermarkets in early July. The recall is at the most severe risk level.
Publix officials are reminding customers to not consume the blueberries, but to instead discard them or return them to the place of purchase for a refund. The FDA is issuing what it calls a “Class 1” recall, a categorization that says there is a reasonable belief that the use of the product will cause serious health consequences, or possible death.
