Wayne City High School will host an American Red Cross blood drive on Wednesday, September 9.
The blood drive, sponsored by the school’s FCCLA, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Wayne City High School gym at 302 Mill Street.
The drive is being held in honor of Marilyn Breeze and David Garrison and in memory of Shirley Miller.
Those donating blood between September 1 and September 20 will be eligible to receive an exclusive Red Cross and Hello Kitty collectible item while supplies last.
Appointments can be scheduled by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS, using the American Red Cross Blood Donor App or through the Red Cross blood donation website. The sponsor code is WayneCityHS.
