The Fairfield Community High School District #225 Board of Education will hold a special strategic planning meeting Thursday at 4 p.m. in the FCHS Study Hall.
The meeting will focus on the district’s strategic plan, specifically the high school building and physical plant.
Superintendent Bobby Wells said the board will discuss the second phase of the district’s current renovation request for proposals, along with long-term ideas for using the bond money expected to remain after the second phase is completed.
Wells said he plans to present several potential ideas for the building and grounds as part of an open discussion with board members.
No action will be taken during the meeting.
Meanwhile, the Fairfield Grade School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting Thursday in the Center Street School Boardroom.
The agenda includes approval of regular session minutes from the July 20th board meeting and an opportunity for citizens to address non-agenda items.
Board members are also scheduled to enter closed session to discuss board vacancies under the personnel provisions of the Illinois Open Meetings Act.
The agenda also includes informational items before adjournment.
