Stellantis is recalling nearly 850,000 vehicles in the United States because of a software issue that could disrupt the rearview camera display.
The recall affects certain 2026 and 2027 model-year Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles. Stellantis says it is not aware of any crashes or injuries related to the problem.
Affected vehicles include 2026-27 Chrysler Pacifica, Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid and Voyager minivans; 2026-27 Dodge Chargers; and several 2026 Jeep models, including the Cherokee, Compass, Gladiator, Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee L, Grand Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer L and Wrangler.
The recall also includes certain 2026 Ram 1500 and 2500 pickups, along with ProMaster and ProMaster EV vans.
Another approximately 107,000 vehicles are being recalled in Canada, Mexico and other markets for the same issue.
Owners of affected vehicles in the United States will receive an over-the-air software update to correct the problem.
Stellantis advises drivers whose rearview camera display is not working to remain aware of their surroundings and use their rearview and side mirrors while backing up.
