Aviation enthusiasts, pilots, prospective aircraft owners and anyone interested in flight are invited to the 18th Annual Midwest Aviation Expo at Mt. Vernon Outland Airport.
The three-day event will be held Thursday, September 10, through Saturday, September 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Admission, parking and local shuttle service will be free.
Over the past 18 years, the Midwest Aviation Expo has grown into a major aviation event in Southern Illinois, bringing together aircraft manufacturers, aviation professionals, pilots and visitors.
Aircraft will be flying throughout each day of the expo, giving visitors an opportunity to see a variety of MOSAIC aircraft, Light Sport Aircraft and ultralights in operation.
The event will also feature demonstration flights and static aircraft displays, allowing attendees to get an up-close look at aircraft and learn more about the recreational aviation industry.
