The Fairfield Community High School Alumni Association will celebrate the school’s 100th anniversary during its annual Alumni Banquet on Saturday, October 3rd at the Fairfield Elks Lodge.

Registration and a social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30. Registration is $30 per person, with guests choosing from prime rib, smothered chicken breast or smothered chicken thigh.

This year’s featured speakers will be Diana Zurliene of the Class of 1976 and longtime educator Linda Monge, a 1968 FCHS graduate.

Zurliene returned to Fairfield after college and spent 33 years in education, serving as a teacher, dean of students, principal and superintendent before retiring in 2019. Her Class of 1976 will celebrate its 50th reunion during this year’s banquet.

Monge has spent more than 50 years in education, including more than three decades teaching mathematics at FCHS. She is beginning her 17th year teaching mathematics at Frontier Community College and has also served more than 30 years on the Fairfield Park Board.

Both speakers will share memories and reflections on Fairfield Community High School as part of its centennial celebration.
