Wayne City High School has named Clara Manning its Senior of the Month for September.
Manning is the daughter of Steven and Emily Manning. She is active in several school organizations, including FFA, Apologetics, Beta Club, Scholar Bowl and TPUSA.
Outside of school, Manning enjoys spending time with friends and family and teaching Sunday school. She is also employed at Sweeties.
Following graduation, Manning plans to attend Rend Lake College before transferring to either Murray State University or Eastern Illinois University. She plans to pursue bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.
