Marla Sue Shoaff, 62, of Fairfield passed away at 12:15AM on Wednesday September 2, 2026, at her home. Marla was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 24, 1964, to James D. and Hattie (Suddarth) Marsh.
Marla is survived by her husband, Randy Shoaff of Fairfield; son, Mark Shoaff of Fairfield; daughters, Lisa Shoaff of Fairfield, and Sandy (Dallas) Barbre of Geff; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Kim (George) Musgrave of Fairfield, Terrisa (Lloyd) Vaughan of Burnt Prairie, Liz (Richard) Attebery of Geff, and Sheila (Brad) Auvil of Fairfield; brothers, Keith (Pam) Hooper of Fairfield, and Richard (Amy) Hooper of Fairfield, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Marla was preceded in death by her mother, Hattie Hooper; fathers, James D. Marsh, and Elsworth Hooper; and In-Laws, Wilbur, and Norma Shoaff.
Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Friday September 4, 2026, at Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois and will be accepted at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of all the arrangements.
