American Red Cross blood drives in Fairfield are moving to a new location after more than two decades at the Community of Christ Church.
Organizer David Savage said the blood drive scheduled for Wednesday, September 9th along with all future drives, will now be held at First Christian Church in Fairfield.
Regularly scheduled Red Cross blood drives had been held at the Community of Christ Church for more than 20 years.
According to Savage, Red Cross officials cited concerns involving “ceiling tile dust” as the reason for relocating the drives.
The September 9th blood drive will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with donors now asked to report to First Christian Church.
