Geff Frontier Days returns next Saturday with more than 60 vendors expected to fill the village park with crafts, food, antiques, farm products and homemade goods.
Activities begin with the Geff Ruritan Club breakfast at 7am. Children’s events include frog and turtle races beginning at 9am, followed by the most-decorated baby contest, diaper derby, basketball shoot-out, sack and three-legged races, sawdust money hunt and pedal pull.
There will be no Frontier Days parade this year, but several traditional activities remain on the schedule.
The quilt show runs from 8:30am to 4pm, with a quilting demonstration at Town Hall at 10am. Car and tractor show registration begins at 9am, while the traditional ham and beans with cornbread, cooked over an open fire, will be served beginning at 11:30am at the Ruritan building. Bingo begins at 2pm.
Local entertainment is also planned throughout the day.
