An Indiana man wanted on a parole violation warrant has been arrested in Wabash County.
Wabash County Sheriff Derek Morgan says deputies arrested 45-year-old Kenneth W. Fitzgerald of Plainfield, Indiana, around 7:30 Wednesday evening.
Fitzgerald was wanted on an Indiana Department of Corrections warrant issued in September of last year for allegedly failing to comply with the terms of his parole. He was taken into custody without incident.
During the investigation, 43-year-old Maryann Fitzgerald of Cowling was cited for obstructing a peace officer.
The Mt. Carmel Police Department assisted the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office.
Kenneth Fitzgerald remains in custody pending further proceedings on the Indiana warrant.
