The Albion City Council will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. with several property, ordinance and infrastructure matters on the agenda.
Under old business, the council is scheduled to receive an update on property at 230 North Second Street and consider bids for the Elm Street asphalt project between Fourth and Fifth streets. Members will also discuss farmland bids and the possible purchase of The Watering Can property.
The council is expected to open bids for the sale of a rescue truck and could take action on the matter.
Also on the agenda is the first reading of a proposed ordinance regulating electric bicycles and electric scooters. Council members will continue discussion of a possible Airbnb, hotel and motel tax ordinance, with adjustments and a possible first reading listed.
Several residents are scheduled to address the council concerning a brick issue, while Atif Sherwani with Albion Gas N Go is expected to discuss gaming machines. The Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission is also listed under visitors on business.
New business includes setting trick-or-treat hours, considering equipment rental prices and discussing replacement ideas for the Zenner MIU system.
The council may enter executive session for matters involving personnel, collective negotiations and property before returning to open session for possible action.
