The Xenia Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported brush fire Sunday afternoon in northern Wayne County.
Firefighters were dispatched at approximately 2:18 p.m. to the area of County Road 2200 North and 515 East.
Upon arrival, firefighters found two separate logs that had been set on fire. Crews extinguished the logs and sprayed down the surrounding area to prevent the fire from spreading.
Firefighters were on the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
Two engines, a brush truck, UTV and tanker responded to the incident.
