U.S. Army veteran Danny Youngblood has been selected as the Parade Marshal for the 2026 Wayne City Bean Days celebration.
Youngblood served on active duty in the Army from December 1967 through September 1969 and was deployed to Vietnam from February through September of 1969. He was honorably discharged in December 1973.
During his military career, Youngblood served as a Specialist 4th Class and worked in communications.
Youngblood later spent 40 years working at Airtex Products in Fairfield before retiring.
Wayne City Bean Days organizers are honoring Youngblood for his military service and sacrifice as part of this year’s Veteran Spotlight and Parade Marshal recognition.
