Antonia Oliver, 84, of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026. She was born in New York City on October 7, 1941.
She met Norwood Oliver formerly from Springerton, Illinois while working at Raymond Loewy/William Snaith, Inc. They married on May 30, 1964 and enjoyed 62 wonderful years together in New York City, Mantoloking, New Jersey and Naples, Florida.
With a diverse professional background, Antonia also worked in public relations at Macy’s, held a senior management role at a furniture retailer and owned a private label perfume company. In 1969, Antonia and Norwood founded NODA, Inc., an award-winning design firm that specialized in commercial interiors. Their most famous creation, located in the Bellagio Las Vegas, holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest chocolate fountain.
Antonia loved to entertain, garden and travel. Her kind heart and deep compassion for animals were constants in her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Constance “Tatu” Geis Ceccarelli and Lester Geis, and her brother, George Ceccarelli.
She is survived by her husband, Norwood Oliver; sister-in-law, Carmita “Mitzi” Marks; nieces, nephews and godchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at Saint William Catholic Church in Naples on September 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the mass at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at the Oliver home. Burial will be at Hammack Cemetery in Springerton, Illinois, Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
