Fairfield Community High School will hold a special program Friday commemorating the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.
The program will begin at 9:45 a.m. in the FCHS east gym. Members of the community are invited to attend, with the gym lobby doors opening at 9:30 a.m.
FCHS administrators will welcome students and visitors before the school band performs the National Anthem and a patriotic musical selection.
Ryan Burkett will serve as the guest speaker for the program.
The observance will honor the 25th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and remember the events of September 11, 2001.
