The McLeansboro Kiwanis Club will hold its Fall Festival Pet Parade on Saturday as part of this year’s festival activities.
The parade and judging will begin at noon on the south side of the McLeansboro square.
Competition categories will include Little Dogs, Big Dogs, Cats, Farm Animals, Most Unusual, Best Pet and Owner Costume Duo and Best of Show. A new Best Float category has also been added this year.
Participants can register the day of the event from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at Greg James Memorial Park. Preregistration is also available at: https://form.jotform.com/252308049465156
Organizers say all pets participating in the event must be leashed or securely contained.
