A Springerton man escaped injury after the semi he was driving left the roadway and plunged into a pond north of Enfield Thursday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the crash around 11:40 a.m.
White County Sheriff Jordan Weiss said the semi, driven by Wyatt Dillinger of Springerton, suffered a blown front steer tire, causing the truck to leave the roadway and enter the pond.
Dillinger, who drives for Thomas Farms, was able to get out of the semi under his own power and was not injured.
White County Ambulance personnel were among the emergency responders at the scene.
