The City of Fairfield Water Department has issued a boil order for customers in several areas following water system repairs.
The boil order includes County Road 1850 East from Kings Chapel Church north to County Road 1120 North.
It also includes all customers on Oakwood Drive, Dogwood Lane and County Road 1030 North just west of Enterprise Road, along with any other customers in that area who may have been without water while repairs were recently made.
Until further notice, affected customers should boil water used for drinking, food preparation, making ice or any other form of human consumption.
The boil order will remain in effect while water samples are tested. The City of Fairfield says a notice will be issued once samples have passed testing and the boil order can be lifted.
