One person was airlifted to an Evansville hospital following a single-vehicle rollover crash southeast of Fairfield Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 2:42pm to the personal injury accident near 555 County Highway 6.
The Fairfield Rural Fire Department and Wayne County Ambulance Service responded to the scene. Fairfield Rural firefighters also requested mutual aid from the Fairfield City Fire Department to establish a landing zone for an Air Evac helicopter responding from Mt. Vernon.
The injured person was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Evansville for treatment.
