The Wayne County Republican Party awarded several door prizes and held its annual gun raffle Saturday night during the Fairfield Fall Fun Fest.
Door prize winners included Denise Hilliard, a pizza oven donated by Garry and Sharon Atteberry; Mark Wimer, a Milwaukee 14-in-1 screwdriver donated by Wayne County Treasurer Yvette Anderson; Kent Henson, homegrown popcorn and an insulated cup donated by Berry Precinct Committeeperson Sandy Beeson; and Ruth Hamilton, a Meguiar’s complete car detailing kit donated by coroner candidate Ryan Best.
Sean Rilea won a popcorn and movie night gift basket, while Anita Byars received a $20 men’s haircut at Big Al’s Barber Shop. Both prizes were donated by county clerk candidate Billie Jo Townsend.
Hannah Fickas won a decorative basket filled with candy donated by Lamard Precinct Committeeperson Janet Billington. Debbie Fickas received a fall decoration gift basket made by Denice Kinney and donated by Anderson.
Amy McCann won a $100 Save-A-Lot gift certificate donated by Big Mound 1 Precinct Committeeperson Ronnie Woodrow and Wayne County Clerk and Recorder Liz Ann Woodrow.
Three winners were also selected in the annual gun raffle. TJ Vaughan was drawn first and selected a Henry Silver Boy. Kenny Samford was drawn second and selected a Beretta 9mm, while Jeff Elliott was the third winner and received a Stoeger shotgun.
