The City of Fairfield has lifted a boil order that had been in effect for several areas following recent water system repairs.
City officials announced yesterday (Tuesday) that water samples have passed the required testing and customers no longer need to boil their water for human consumption.
The boil order had affected customers in the Kings Chapel Church area, Oakwood Drive, Dogwood Lane and County Road 1030 North, along with customers in the affected area who experienced a loss of water during the repairs.
