The Fairfield Community High School Board of Education approved the district’s Fiscal Year 2027 budget and authorized a building renovation feasibility study during its meeting Monday night.
The evening began with a public hearing on the 2026-27 budget at 6 p.m. No public comments were received, and the hearing was adjourned before the regular meeting began.
During the regular session, the board approved the 2026-27 district budget along with the Fiscal Year 2026 Salary and Compensation Report.
Board members also approved SMIC as the supplemental insurance provider for students.
Another action authorized ADG to conduct a Building Renovation Feasibility Study. The study had been among the items scheduled for discussion during Monday’s meeting as the district considers future needs for its facilities.
Following closed session, the board approved the employment of Diana Romero Calderon as a Language Aide.
Monday night’s Student Focus featured members of the FCHS Yearbook staff, along with sponsors Rhiannon Bridgeman and Breyaniah Hall.
