The 6th Annual Shawnee Sasquatch Festival will take over Harrisburg on Saturday, October 3rd with a full day of activities, entertainment and some Bigfoot-themed fun.
The festival offers free admission, free carnival rides, live music and free parking throughout the city.
Activities begin at 10 a.m. with the Run Like a Squatch 5K, followed by vendors and carnival rides opening at 11 a.m. A Sasquatch experts roundtable is scheduled for noon.
The Jim Hayes Inc. Car Show and a performance by the Jake Myers Band are also scheduled around midday. A kids Sasquatch calling contest will follow the Jake Myers Band performance.
Live music continues at 3:30 p.m. with Heath Sanders, while the adult Sasquatch calling contest begins at 6 p.m.
The festival wraps up with Monsters of Yacht performing at 7:30 p.m.
The Shawnee Sasquatch Festival will be held throughout Harrisburg and also features food, vendors and other activities during the day.
