The Fairfield Community High School chapter of the National Honor Society held their Induction Ceremony on Wednesday night. National Honor Society Sponsor Kristi Anderson named 14 junior and senior students as new inductees, joining 14 returning members. Four new officers for the 2026 – 2027 school year were also named: Ellanie Vanway-President, Carly Fleener-Vice President, LynLee Simpson-Secretary, and Macy McCulley-Treasurer.
The induction is held to honor those Juniors and Seniors who have maintained excellence during their enrollment at FCHS. To be eligible for membership in the National Honor Society, a Junior must have a 3.75 cumulative GPA at the end of their sophomore year. Seniors are eligible after their Junior year if they have earned a GPA of 3.75. Furthermore, members must display the values of leadership, service, and character.
