Michelle Rene Brown, 54, of Carmi, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. She was born on Tuesday, March 7, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Mike and Sandy (Ward) Zenner. Michelle Married Stacey Heath Brown on December 25, 1993, and he preceded her in death on October 21, 2021.
She was a cosmetologist, and always loved making others feel beautiful. Michelle was artistic, and enjoyed decorating. She was always a mom to others. Michelle was kind, loving, generous and outgoing. Most of all, she loved being with her family and friends.
Michelle is survived by a daughter and a son, Hannah (Sam Stafford) Brown and Maxxson Brown; her sister, Amber (Randy) Graves; nieces and nephews, Alivia Zenner, Kade Zenner, Noah Zenner, Whitney Zenner, Courtney Zenner and Ashley Bauer; and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Brown. In addition to her husband, Stacey Brown.
Michelle was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Nikolas Brown; and a brother, Michael Zenner.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roberts and Cook Funeral Service, 101 Edgewood Lane, Carmi, Illinois. Roberts and Cook Funeral Service has been entrusted with arrangements
