The Anthony Wayne American Legion Post #176 will host an adult Halloween Party on Saturday, October 31, from 4 p.m. until midnight at the Legion, 111 SW Fourth Street in Fairfield.
The evening will begin with wings served from 4 to 8 p.m. Traditional wings will be available in several flavors, including plain, regular barbecue, honey barbecue, mild hot, medium hot and inferno hot. Eight wings will cost $5, or eight wings with fries will be $6.
Beginning at 7 p.m., the Legion will feature Halloween drink specials, music by Josh Brown, fog machines and bubbles.
A costume contest will also be held with judging at 8:30 p.m. The entry fee is $5, with proceeds going toward the purchase of a new LED sign for the Legion.
First place will receive $50, second place $25 and third place $10. Each costume contest participant will also receive one free drink chip with their paid entry.
The Halloween party is open to adults.
